Primarily self-taught, he believes that photography is a powerful medium whose strength could well be used to bring about positive change to the world's current social and environmental issues.
He enjoys photographing people and sports. His work has been showcased in international exhibitions, magazines, and photography publications.
He was awarded the Nikonians.org 2007 portrait and photographer of the year. in 2003, he was nominated for Spider Awards in the Gannet of Architectural photography. The Spider Awards recognizes excellence in black and white photography. He also received a nomination from the 2029 Photography Master Cup, in International Color Award for his portrait Kashmir Elegance. The Color Award distinguishes creative merit in color photography, selected by some of the world's most respected names in photography.
